The interior upfit for this downtown Winston-Salem restaurant reflects the restaurant owner’s concept “be local, eat local” and mission to cook from local, fresh products, but in unusual combinations. The design uses natural colors and simple materials, such as pine and oak hardwoods that are indigenous to North Carolina. The herbal plants decorating the large storefront windows present an organic environment to compliment the character of the restaurant. Walter Robbs provided full-service design services for this project, from branding concepts and conceptual design through construction administration.
